Yours.
Then theirs.
Know exactly what you have, every month — in a vault your family can actually open.
Free while in beta · 1.0 ships September 2026 · works in your browser
One quiet check-in a month.
Update your balances, watch your net worth climb, and know everything your family would need is current. Ten minutes, once a month — that's the whole habit.
Three clicks from chaos to covered.
Add what matters, organise it by life, name the people you trust — right in your browser.
Web-app mockups shown.
Organised by life, not by folders.
Six quiet areas hold everything — and each one tells you, at a glance, whether your people would be covered.
Five people. Three to open the door.
No one opens your vault alone — not your nominee, not us. You choose five you trust; any three can release it when it truly matters.
Slow. Loud. Reversible.
If a recovery ever starts, you get fourteen days and alerts everywhere. One click re-seals the vault. No questions.
The most secure app you'll ever own.
Most apps promise they won't look inside. Lyfos is built so it can't.
Encrypted before it ever leaves your hands.
Argon2id + AES-256, on your device. The cloud only ever holds scrambled bytes — never anything we, or anyone, could read.
We hold no key.
No master password. No backdoor. No reset link. There is simply nothing on our side for us — or an attacker — to unlock.
Math, not trust.
Recovery takes 3 of 5 independent keys, split by Shamir's Secret Sharing. No single person — not even your nominee — can open it alone.
It works even if we're gone.
Local-first by design. Your 24-word recovery phrase opens your vault with or without Lyfos. You are never locked in, and never locked out.

The things people ask first.
No. It's encrypted on your device with a key derived from a passphrase only you know. Our servers only ever hold ciphertext, and we hold no key to decrypt it — it's a fact of the architecture, not a policy we could quietly change.
Your 24-word recovery phrase opens the vault. You write it down once at setup. If you lose both the passphrase and the phrase, no one — including us — can recover it. That's the trade-off true zero-knowledge requires.
A password manager keeps you logged in. Lyfos is built so the people you trust can recover everything if you're not there — a 3-of-5 release with a 14-day owner-protection hold — without ever giving anyone access while you are.
Recovery needs any 3 of your 5 holders, so it tolerates someone who's unreachable, has fallen out with the family, or has passed away. You can also update your circle any time.
Lyfos is local-first. You always hold a copy, and your standard BIP39 recovery phrase decrypts it with or without our servers, app, or company. You're never locked in.
Your records stay yours and readable even on the free tier or after a lapse. The paid plan adds the live release service, unlimited records, and encrypted multi-device sync.
“I watched a family spend nine months piecing together what one person knew by heart. Lyfos is the thing I wish they'd had — built so it can't betray that trust.”
